In October, Sly the Red Fox was spotted in Broomall, PA with a plastic tube on his neck. Good Boy Rescue was catching the fox to get him to an animal rescue to get the tubing off.
We reached out to assist and get more information. In speaking with the rescue, we learned that trash and debri is very dangerous to the habitat of our local fox, rabbit and other animal habitat.
Students organized a community clean up in different locations throughout Delaware and Philadelphia County.
Together, we removed 52.8lbs of trash from Chester Park, Glenolden Park, Ridley Area Little League, Hollow Park, Unofficial Phila Airport Observation Area, Norwood Train Station, Park Square, and Leedom area.
